S_ID PASS-13 — bounded P9 noncash-proceeds correction and symbolic-register additions
Fresh public-source access date: October 28, 2026, America/Los_Angeles.
Disposition: The identified P9 § 4.5 sentence is corrected below. A distinct noncash-proceeds claim is added. The omitted symbolic-register rows are supplied with their conditions and verification status.
A materially different source made § 28-9-626 readable: FindLaw’s reproduction labeled “Current as of January 01, 2024.” That is fresh, dated secondary evidence—not authentication of the previously reported 2025 reproduction or current official 2026 law. The supplied coordinator failures remain separate historical observations.
No other P9 finding is replaced. In particular, S_ID-P9-C030 remains cash-only, and S_ID-P9-C043 and C044 are not overwritten. P12 supplies no substantive foundation. All existing source, classification, application, and other-component holds remain.
1. Exact noncash-proceeds correction
1.1 Replacement for P9 § 4.5
Sentence to replace:
“Noncash proceeds require application only under the stated agreement/commercial-reasonableness conditions.”
Replacement text:
For noncash proceeds of a disposition under § 28-9-610, § 28-9-615(c) does not make an agreement a prerequisite. Application or payment over is required when withholding it would be commercially unreasonable. Any application or payment over that occurs must itself be commercially reasonable.
New claim: S_ID-P13-C001.
The complete reproduced subsection supports this correction. The finding remains a reading of Justia’s 2025 Idaho Code reproduction, not authenticated current official law. Justia Law
1.2 Disposition and collection are separate clauses

§ 28-9-608(a)(3) |

Disposition under § 28-9-610 |
Collection or enforcement under § 28-9-607 |

Commercial reasonableness governs withholding application and the manner of application |
The same two-part structure appears, within § 608(a)’s obligation-secured scope |
| Agreement prerequisite in the noncash clause |
None stated |
None stated |
| Supplied reference qualification |
The § 615(c) reference is correct |
The readable § 608 reproduction has no subsection (c); its noncash clause is (a)(3) |
The agreement wording in the adjacent expense provisions concerns specified attorney fees and legal expenses. It must not be moved into either noncash clause. This is a textual distinction, not a ruling about any agreement or proceeds. [C002–C003.] Justia Law+1
The full neighboring provisions were inspected to preserve their different scope and surplus/deficiency qualifications. No new noncash valuation, application date, recipient entitlement, or actual commercial-reasonableness conclusion is supplied.
2. Section 28-9-626: new reading, limited effect
The coordinator-supplied history reports failed deliveries of the official § 626 route and the identified Justia 2025 page. Those routes were not repeatedly reopened.
The newly read FindLaw page contains the complete introductory clause and subsections (a)–(e). Its displayed date is January 1, 2024, and it warns that its codes may not reflect the latest law. The relevant symbolic relation and presumption appear in (c)–(d); their procedural conditions appear in (a)–(b). FindLaw
Accordingly:
| Evidence proposition |
P13 result |
| P9 reported the definitions TTT, AAA, and HHH, and the two symbolic relations |
Preserved as supplied prior research |
| Coordinator freshly authenticated the reported 2025 § 626 body |
Not claimed; supplied history says that delivery failed |
| P13 found a materially different readable body |
Yes: FindLaw, January 1, 2024 reproduction |
| The supplied symbolic relations have additional textual support |
Yes, provisionally, from that dated reproduction |
| Current official § 626 or its complete amendment chain is authenticated |
No |
| P9 C044’s consumer-carveout observation is reopened or newly certified |
No; outside this correction’s merits scope |
| A deficiency, surplus, exception, or enforcement outcome is established |
No |
Section 28-9-628 was read only because § 626(c) expressly makes its rule subject to that section. The relevant qualifications are retained in the register below; no actual knowledge, reliance, or transaction category is decided.

6. Complete symbolic quantity, trigger, exception, and status additions

| Q01 |
TTT |
P9: “the legally established secured obligation, expenses, and attorney fees included by the statute.” Maps to the aggregate stated in § 626(c)–(d). |
Monetary aggregate. The notation does not itself establish any component’s amount or legal entitlement. |
P9 attribution plus fresh 2024 secondary support, S005. |
| Q02 |
AAA |
P9: “actual proceeds.” Maps to § 626(c)(1)’s proceeds from the relevant collection, enforcement, disposition, or acceptance. |
Monetary proceeds measure for the relevant activity. Not restricted by the notation to a sale price. |
Same limited status. |
| Q03 |
HHH |
P9: “proceeds of a complying collection, enforcement, disposition, or acceptance.” Maps to the counterfactual in § 626(c)(2). |
Monetary counterfactual; not an assumed appraisal, liquidation value, or agreed value. |
Same limited status. |
| Q04 |
max(A,H)\max(A,H)max(A,H) |
Represents the statutory comparison selecting the greater proceeds measure. |
Comparison operator, not a new valuation rule. |

| Q05 |
T−max(A,H)T-\max(A,H)T−max(A,H) |
Represents the excess described in § 626(c), when that provision applies. |
A deficiency limitation, not automatic liability. No negative deficiency, surplus entitlement, or additional zero-floor equation is introduced. |
Fresh provisional support from § 626(c); official-current status held. |
| Q06 |
H=TH=TH=T, unless the secured party proves a smaller HHH |
Represents subsection (d)’s rule for purposes of subsection (c)(2). |
A conditional presumption, not a factual finding that actual proceeds equal the obligation. |
Fresh provisional support from § 626(d); no evidence or burden satisfied here. |

S005, § 626(c) |
| Q10 — cross-reference exception |
Section 626(c) is expressly subject to § 28-9-628 |
Neither symbolic relation may erase an applicable § 628 qualification. |
S005–S006 |
| Q11 — knowledge qualification |
Section 628(a) addresses knowledge of debtor/obligor status, identity, and how to communicate; subsection (b) separately limits status-based liability |
No knowledge or communication predicate is assumed. The relevant deficiency consequence in (a)(2) must be retained. |
S006, § 628(a)–(b), 2025 secondary |
| Q12 — reasonable-purpose-reliance qualification |
Section 628(c) concerns an act or omission arising from the specified reasonable belief, based on reasonable reliance on a debtor’s collateral-purpose representation or obligor’s obligation-purpose representation |

| Q17 — source versions |
Justia 2025 for §§ 608, 615, 628; FindLaw January 1, 2024 for § 626 |
These versions are not relabeled official/current 2026 or harmonized by assumption. |
S003–S006 |
| Q18 — enactment/application |
Official current text and final amendment/application evidence were not recovered |
Displayed old credits and publisher dates do not close the gap. |
S001–S006 |
The relevant § 628 qualifications were freshly read, but not applied. Its separate § 625(c)(2) provisions in subsections (d)–(e) were inspected without reopening the P9 remedies report. Justia Law

11. Remaining gaps and researcher self-check
The bounded correction is established at the following level:
- Noncash sentence: corrected against the freshly read 2025 reproduction of § 28-9-615(c).
- Collection comparison: independently checked against § 28-9-608(a)(3), with the supplied subsection reference qualified.
- Symbolic omissions: registered completely, with additional provisional support from a newly readable January 1, 2024 § 626 reproduction.
- Exceptions: the relevant § 628 text was read and retained without application.
Still unresolved are current official statutory authentication, the relevant amendment/application chain, commercial-reasonableness construction, valuation and lawful-component questions, and every actual predicate needed to apply a rule or exception. The new secondary read does not cure those gaps.
No numeric substitution, collateral narrative, transaction, party, value, receipt, consent, fee, event, agreement, or case was supplied or invented. No actual duty, deficiency, surplus, contractual entitlement, collection right, or disposition permission is determined.
This is a researcher self-check, not independent review. Only the identified P9 sentence, the distinct corrective claims, and the omitted register entries are addressed. All other P9 findings and existing holds—including C033/C035 and unrelated P12/state/parent holds—remain preserved.
