SettleADebt.com — R001 Correction-02
Source-ID reconciliation and dependent-text replacements
Area A001 | Baseline: October 22, 2026 | Reconciliation date: October 22, 2026 | Scope: California judgment satisfaction only
Disposition: Accept the coordinator's correction-01-only alias mapping. Preserve the original R001 source IDs and historical claim/source table cells. Replace conflicting references in the correction supplement without renumbering the original report.
This is an editorial and evidence-reconciliation pass, not a new legal investigation.

Original IDs protected:
- R001-S032: California Courts satisfaction guidance, with corrected attribution and no universal 14-day-after-payment assertion.
- R001-S033: Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians v. Coughlin, U.S. Supreme Court.
- R001-S034: 38 CFR Part 36, federal veterans' loan-guaranty regulations.
The mapping applies to all 12 new correction-01 sources, not merely the two that collided with existing source IDs. The underlying source titles, URLs, pinpoints and access qualifications must be carried forward unchanged from their original correction-01 rows. The complete contents of those 12 rows are not available here, so their individual authorities cannot responsibly be reconstructed from the numeric IDs alone.
2. Controlling-authority reference index
The following four authorities have coordinator-documented official-browser access at 2026-10-22T23:05:23Z (October 22, 2026, 4:05:23 p.m. PDT).
These are verified-access statements attributed to the coordinator, not claims of independent reopening in this response. The statutes control over conflicting explanatory guidance. The coordinator's access record does not, by itself, establish a separate current-amendment audit.
3. Corrected claim-reference rows
The original claim identifiers remain stable. The following are replacement or reference-reconciliation instructions, not an assertion that the unavailable full correction-01 claim table has been independently inspected.

Satisfaction of a California money judgment requires analysis of the applicable procedure. General civil judgments involve immediate filing under CCP § 724.030, subject to the writ exception. Section 724.050 establishes a separate qualified written-demand procedure, including a 15-day period after actual receipt. Small-claims § 116.850 distinguishes immediate filing following satisfaction from the 14-day written-request condition for specified failure liability. Satisfaction does not automatically prove every lien has been cleared. |

Reference-integrity limitation: Without the actual C036–C045 claim rows and S033–S044 correction source rows, assigning individual source aliases to individual claims would risk manufacturing relationships. The mapping above is complete at the identifier level, but row-level cross-references require a mechanical join against the retained correction-01 tables.
No original source or claim table cell should be overwritten merely to eliminate an ID collision.
4. Exact dependent-text disposition and finished replacement wording
The coordinator has supplied seven original Markdown passages with line locations. All seven are addressed below.
Line 32 — Terminology comparison
Retain with qualificationWriting| Satisfaction | Has the obligation or judgment been fulfilled or accepted as satisfied under the governing law? | Satisfaction alone does not establish that every related lien, enforcement record, collateral interest, or claim against another liable party has been released. Separate documentation or procedures may be necessary. |
This preserves the useful conceptual distinction without importing California-specific deadlines into the general terminology table.
Line 129 — Substantive R001-C023 finding
ReplaceWritingSatisfaction — R001-C023. Satisfaction describes an obligation or judgment that has been fulfilled or accepted as fulfilled under applicable law. A California money judgment illustrates why satisfaction, acknowledgment, and lien clearing must be distinguished.
For ordinary California civil money judgments, CCP § 724.030 requires the judgment creditor to file an acknowledgment of satisfaction immediately upon satisfaction, except where the judgment was fully satisfied pursuant to a writ of execution. CCP § 724.050 separately establishes written-demand procedures and remedies, including a 15-day period after actual receipt of a qualifying demand under subsection (c). These are different legal triggers.
For California small-claims judgments, CCP § 116.850(a)–(b) distinguishes immediate filing following full satisfaction from a separate 14-day period following receipt of a written request relevant to the specified failure-liability rule.
Form EJ-100 is an acknowledgment form for applicable civil judgment procedures. Court filing alone should not be described as automatically clearing every recorded judgment lien. Applicable recording, lien-clearing and form requirements require separate verification.
The California Courts satisfaction guidance is explanatory material, not the controlling statute. No universal 14-day-after-payment deadline applies across these procedures.
Pinpoints: CCP §§ 724.030, 724.050(a)–(e), 116.850(a)–(b).

It does not establish a universal 14-day-after-payment deadline. | California judgment procedure; explanatory guidance subordinate to controlling statutes | Coordinator-documented official-browser access: 2026-10-22T23:05:23Z for the satisfaction page. Independent current-session reopening not performed. EJ-100 page access and current instructions not independently reconfirmed in this reconciliation. |
Preserve the original historical row in the correction log rather than deleting the evidence of the prior attribution error.
Line 386 — Original claim/evidence-register row
ReplaceWriting| R001-C023 | A001 | California judgment satisfaction does not have one universal 14-day-after-payment acknowledgment deadline. Ordinary civil judgments are governed by CCP § 724.030's immediate-filing requirement and writ exception; § 724.050 supplies separate qualified written-demand procedures, including a 15-day actual-receipt trigger; small-claims § 116.850 distinguishes immediate filing from a separate 14-day written-request failure-liability condition. Judgment satisfaction and clearing liens remain distinct. | R001-S032; CCP §§ 724.030, 724.050(a)–(e), 116.850(a)–(b); applicable R001-R1 aliases after source-row reconciliation | California only; form, lien-recording, calendar-counting and current-amendment details remain held. |
Line 419 — Coverage table
QualifyWriting| Satisfaction | Answered for terminology; California mechanics partially verified | R001-C023; correction-01 claims R001-C036–C045 as applicable | California general civil and small-claims acknowledgment triggers distinguished. Form selection, lien clearing, exact calendar calculations and current-amendment review remain incomplete. Nationwide accord-and-satisfaction and judgment-satisfaction procedures were not surveyed. | Verify outstanding California implementation details in the separate state dossier; address other jurisdictions individually without extrapolating California deadlines. |
Line 478 — Numerical-claim self-check
Replace affected assertionWritingNumerical-claim check performed. The original report identified sources for federal bank supervisory charge-off benchmarks, TSR fee-allocation and dedicated-account provisions, FCRA reporting chronology, federal-benefit garnishment protections, and the Form 1099-C reporting threshold. Those subjects were not independently rechecked in correction-02.
The original reference to California's universal 14-day judgment-satisfaction guidance was erroneous and has been withdrawn. California's distinct immediate-filing, 15-day qualified written-demand, and small-claims 14-day written-request provisions are addressed in corrected R001-C023. Exact calendar calculations remain unverified.
No settlement percentage or guaranteed consumer outcome is inferred from these rules.
This corrects the affected numerical assertion without claiming a new review of the other numerical rules.
Line 482 — Evidence-sufficiency conclusion
QualifyWritingEvidence sufficiency conclusion. The original R001 terminology framework distinguishes debt, credit, delinquency, default, charge-off, collection, settlement, restructuring, forgiveness, cancellation, discharge, satisfaction and release. Correction-01 and correction-02 clarify that California judgment satisfaction, acknowledgment filing, demand-based remedies and lien clearing involve separate legal requirements.
This reconciliation does not independently revalidate the other 34 original claims or authorize publication. The corrected California deadline language and source attribution must be integrated before the affected passages are used. State-specific limitations, accord and satisfaction, lien release, creditor settlement policies, bankruptcy dischargeability, tax outcomes and credit-reporting outcomes remain subject to their existing evidence limitations and publication holds.

7. Researcher self-check
Completed in this response: All 12 source aliases confirmed, original S032–S034 identities preserved, seven supplied original passages assigned dispositions and finished replacement wording, corrected C023 references provided, and outstanding holds retained.
Evidence provenance: The four official California authorities were accessed by the coordinator on October 22, 2026 at 23:05:23 UTC. No additional web reading was undertaken in this reconciliation. No third-party reproduction, search extraction, or unsuccessful reader request is characterized as a complete official-source reading.
Not independently completed: Reconstruction of unavailable correction-01 source/claim rows, verification of current amendments, form and lien mechanics, exact deadline calculations, review of the other 34 original claims, or review of the separate state dossier.
This is a bounded reconciliation for coordinator import and review. It is not an independent legal opinion or publication approval. No local-save or publication action is claimed.
